Barf

Barf, also known as biologically appropriate raw feeding, is a method of animal nutrition in which dogs and cats are fed predominantly raw, natural foods. The term "BARF" is often interpreted as "Bones and Raw Food" or "Biologically Appropriate Raw Feeding". This diet is intended to imitate the natural diet of wild animals and is based on the assumption that dogs and cats, as descendants of carnivores such as wolves and wild cats, require a diet of raw meat, bones, offal and some plant components.
