Good to know about veal breastbone cartilage: Tropocollagen is formed during cartilage formation and deposited as collagen. By feeding our four-legged friends cartilage, they receive everything they need for healthy connective tissue (bones, teeth, cartilage, tendons, ligaments) and good skin.
ATTENTION: Cartilage is not suitable as the only raw meat bone in the diet because it contains too little calcium. However, it does provide a lot of cartilage, which can be particularly beneficial for arthritis patients. Feeding minced veal breast cartilage therefore helps to maintain your dog's cartilage.
